Kensington Metropark Summer 2013

Here in the Kensington Nature Trails, You can get fairly close to the wildlife.

Looking across Wildwing Lake through some bushes. The structure across the lake is an observation area for biologists. As far as I know, the public is not allowed in the structure.

This is just a random photograph I have taken while walking the many trails. This one turned out very well, and here it is! (If you get the title reference, you are awesome!)

A swan on it's nest near a great wooden bridge.

Red-winged Blackbird preening on a branch over the shore of Wildwing Lake.

This is one of my favorite photos taken that day. This crane seemed to be paying very close attention to me while I was taking this photo.

This is another of my favorite photos taken that day.

This is yet another favorite photo taken that day.

This fungus looks like a sea anemone to me. One of the many interesting finds in the Nature Trails. Also, this is another of my favorite photos taken that day.
